Shaving

Safety Razor Shaving Information Page

After many years of avoiding shaving my facial stubble as much as possible and when I did shave I usually bought cheap throw away single blade "BIC's", mainly because they clear out the whiskers and soap scum more efficiently than the multi bladed razors that tend to clog up. I would often have a beard of some kind, sometimes neat sometimes a jungle, I never really liked shaving, since shaving with a safety razor I am actually enjoying the experience.

Double Edge Razor Blade

Double Edge Safety Razors have many benefits over the multi blade modern razors of today, DE Razors are cheaper to use, the only waste is the actual razor blades, generally a DE blade will last anywhere from three to seven three pass shaves, depending on the type of whiskers one has before needing to be replaced. When you first switch to DE shaving you will most likely need to experiment a little at least, trying different blades, shaving soaps etc.

After a little research I was convinced shaving with a Double Edge or Safety Razor was exactly what I needed. I use many different online stores when looking to purchase shaving supplies, VSHOD is a site that has no search function that I could find so I made one myself, check it out below.
